Searching For Answers

I look and search so very hard for answers sometimes. So many questions! I wonder if this is the right way or why can't I make this work. Am I praying right? Is this spiritual fight we're in through this life worth all the work? Teach me to pray!

The other set of questions is much shorter. Are we asking for God's will to be done in ALL things? Are we asking something that is only for us and for OUR glory, or His? Is our heart pure and shed of the baggage that takes up unforgiven hurts? Unconfessed sins? Jealousy? Self righteousness? Those are EASILY shed! Simply truly acknowledge them and truly ask forgiveness! How easy God makes it for us! All things are possible...only believe! Fortunately, we have words of comfort that God has written just for us. Along with words of conviction, and wisdom for those who will accept them.

Some of the comforting words are found in the beatitudes........

It makes me much more comforted when things seem to be going so badly for us in the world today with worldly leaders (President and congress) listen to people who are <and I find this very amusing> clearly terrified of the mere mention of the name of Jesus! <If they're afraid of Him now, they should be in for a real "treat" later! lol> The last beatitude is the one I think of when I have questions like this.
